14th Annual Coconut Festival
The Coconut Festival has become an institution on Kauai. This low key, friendly family event is what the Garden Island is all about.  It celebrates all things coconut, of course. You'll find every imaginable coconut food, pie eating and cooking contests, arts and crafts, along with cultural and historical information about one of Hawaii's most significant products. Whether you're making rope or grinding a slab of haupia, the coconut does it all. John and his band play for 90 minutes outdoors by the beach.

Pakele Live
This is a cool opportunity to see John perform and get yourself on TV at the same time. The show is streamed live around the world on the internet and broadcast a few months later on OC-16 in Hawaii.  The taping is free and open to the public, in the lobby of the Ala Moana Hotel. Arrive early to get good seats. John will perform for one hour during the 6-8pm slot.

Stella's Supper Club
What a gem of a venue this is!  If you caught John's last shows here, you'll completely agree. The intimate atmosphere and excellent sound are equaled by the amazing food and overall great vibe. John's last two shows at Stella's sold out in advance, so definitely make reservations early. $60 for a concert and four-course gourmet dinner is a steal. He performs both Friday and Saturday nights.
